The Meal Box Shipping Policy covers everything you need to know about how we deliver your frozen meals across New Zealand. All orders are packed in special chilled bags to keep your frozen meals at the right temperature during transit. Tracking information is automatically emailed to you once your order is ready to ship.
How Our Meal Box Shipping Works
Our Meal Box Shipping Policy is simple and straightforward:
- 📦 Order processing – We ship the next working day after your order is placed
- 🚚 Shipping days – Monday to Thursday only
- 📅 Friday orders – Sent the following Monday
- ❌ No weekend delivery – We are unable to deliver Saturday or Sunday
- 📧 Tracking – Emailed automatically once your order is dispatched
- ⏱️ Delivery time – Allow up to 2 working days within New Zealand
- ❄️ Frozen delivery – Meals are shipped frozen and arrive overnight in most cases

Meal Box FAQ – Common Questions
Where do I find meal ingredients? Visit our Full Menu Collection and select any meal to find its full description, ingredients list, nutritional information and allergens.
How is Meal Box delivered? Your Meal Box FAQ answer — orders arrive in a reusable cardboard box packed with insulated bubble wrap to keep everything chilled. We work with New Zealand Post for nationwide delivery.
What if I'm not home? All orders are left in a safe cool place between 10am and 5pm. Add special delivery instructions at checkout if needed.
How do I reheat my meals? All meals are pre-cooked and simply need reheating from frozen or defrosted — microwave or oven both work. Allow 2–5 minutes in the microwave depending on its strength.
How long do meals stay fresh? Keep meals in the freezer until the best before date on the packaging. Once thawed eat within 4 days.
